[ On Christmas morning, a messenger bird drops by Roman's place, wherever that may be, with two light gifts. Inside box #1 is... socks! He didn't get a chance to give these to Ozpin after buying them for him months ago, and he didn't know what to do with them for a while, so he decided to give them to Roman. They go with his color scheme! :')

But Oscar would never only give a friend (which is what Roman is, of course) something originally meant for another, and box #2 contains an thin orange notebook, bundled together with a nice pen and a note. ]

If you ever wanted to write your own story, I'd be happy to read it. I think you'd be good at it. But if you don't, maybe you can use this for something else, like drawing or keeping a journal. - Your acquaintance, Oscar

[Roman does not know how to deal with any of this. Presents are not something he usually receives after all, and Christmas Morning for him means something going more right than he'd planned for. Maybe his heart grew a size that day?

Regardless, He's not sure how to respond and of course there's no thank you note. But Oscar does receive an Orange scarf a few days later, unbidden, unwrapped with no note.]
